On this episode of 3 in 3, I am going to share three tips for transcribing an audio or video recording into text, so, get ready for 3 in 3!

High Impact Marketing Tip #1

If you are looking for a high-quality transcription service, working with a transcription professional who does nothing but turn audio and video files to text is your best choice.

For years, I found several quality transcription pros on sites like Guru.com and Upwork.com, where you can search, and filter based on your specific needs.

If working with one individual over time is right for you, then this is your best option.

High Impact Marketing Tip #2

A newer way to get your audio and video files transcribed is to use a dedicated service and website, like Rev.com and Transcribe.com. These types of sites still do human-based transcription, which means accuracy is high, but there is still the time delay to complete the work.

Rev.com

Rev.com

Trint.com

Transcribe.com

What is nice about these services is this is all they do, so the work is typically of a high-quality and turn- around time is fast.

High Impact Marketing Tip #3

The third way to turn audio and video files to text is one I’ve been looking forward to for years where you can upload an audio or video file and a few minutes later download a Word document transcription.   Some sites even offer foreign language transcriptions.

There are several sites that now do this, like:

Trint.com

Trint.com

Temi.com

Temi.com

SimonSays.ai

SimonSays.ai

Sonix.ai

Sonix.ai

HappyScribe.co

HappyScribe.co

While these sites are not as accurate as human-based transcription services, they are fast, cost-effective and depending on your needs could be a great choice for your transcription needs.

So that wraps up this episode of 3 in 3.

I hope you enjoyed these three tips and more importantly can put them to profitable use in your business.

On next week’s episode, I will show you how I use an automated transcription service to turn 3 in 3 episodes into in just a few minutes.
