Welcome to this episode of 3 in 3 with Mike Capuzzi – where you get three High Impact Marketing Ideas in only three minutes!

On this episode of 3 in 3, I am going to share three tips for finding the perfect word for your next marketing effort.  As we all know, finding just the right word is not always a simple task, and these three tips will help you when you are stuck for just the right word.

So, get ready for 3 in 3!

High Impact Marketing Tip #1

My first tip for finding the perfect word is to use an online thesaurus. For years I’ve used www.thesaurus.com, but recently I’ve been using www.powerthesaurus.org.  I like this site because it gives me that seems to give me some better results. Let’s say I’m searching for a word that is similar to the word “perfect.” I choose a synonym. I could also choose an antonym the opposite and I can choose that looking for adjectives, verbs, nouns, or even words that rhyme.  You can see it gives me a great list of words that are similar to the word perfect when in fact I don’t want to use the word perfect. Check out www.powerthesaurus.org.

High Impact Marketing Tip #2

My next tip for finding the perfect word is what I use when I want to find a word that sounds like another word or similar word so I use www.rhymezone.com.  This site allows you to type in a word and it will find words that rhyme with it. I’m going to keep searching for the word perfect and it gives us all the different words that rhyme with perfect including one syllable and multi syllable words. This is powerful because when you’re coming up with a name for something and you want it to have that similar sound which will make in a name or a park names sound a little more attractive. Think about how you can rhyme words to find that perfect word and check out rhymezone.com.

High Impact Marketing Tip #3

My last tip for helping you find the perfect word is to use a website that allows you to solve crossword puzzles. Now I know this is probably going to sound a little bit different and you’re not sure how this is going to work but check this out. I use www.the-crossword-solver.com and if I go to that site and type in the word perfect again, you will see now if I scroll down here it gives me a variety of other words that are similar to the word perfect. But now what it does is it breaks the results down based on the number of letters as it would for a crossword puzzle. This gives you a variety of words that are similar that mean the same thing as perfect but allows you to choose a shorter word or a longer word. I’ve used this for when I’m looking for website domains or a product name.  Check out www.the-crossword-solver.com.

So that wraps up this episode of 3 in 3.

I hope you enjoyed these three tips and more importantly can put them to profitable use in your business.

Love the crossword puzzle hack! Great idea. (Plus, I’ll use if for crosswords too)
